Self Introduction

    Blog-1                          Self-Introduction

Good [morning/afternoon], everyone. My name is Sumit Singh Rawat, and I’m truly excited to have this opportunity to introduce myself.
I come from the serene and culturally rich state of Uttarakhand, a place known for its natural beauty and spiritual heritage. I spent most of my early years there and completed my schooling in Uttarakhand, securing 63% in 10th and 71% in 12th. Coming from a rural area, where educational resources were limited and opportunities were relatively fewer, I’ve always had the drive to push beyond boundaries and seek a brighter future.

After my 12th, I developed a strong interest in technology and computers, which led me to choose the Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) program as the first step towards building a career in the IT field. That’s when I decided to move to Delhi—not just for college, but to challenge myself and take full advantage of the opportunities available in a more competitive environment.

Currently, I’m in my second year of BCA. My academic journey so far has been a mix of highs and lows, but every step has taught me something valuable. In my first semester, I managed to score a respectable 69%, which gave me a good start. However, life threw an unexpected challenge at me in my second semester, when I suffered a fracture in my right hand. Due to that, I couldn’t perform well in my exams and ended up with five backlogs. It was a tough time for me, both mentally and physically.

But rather than giving up, I took it as a motivation to come back stronger. I put in extra effort, focused on my recovery, and committed myself fully to my studies. As a result, I achieved a remarkable 83% in my third semester, which boosted my confidence and proved to me that setbacks are just setups for comebacks.

Apart from academics, I believe in living a balanced life. I’m passionate about playing cricket, which not only keeps me active but also teaches me teamwork and discipline. I absolutely love traveling in the mountains, which helps me reconnect with nature and clear my mind. I also enjoy camping with friends and exploring different temples, as it allows me to experience peace, spirituality, and new cultures. These hobbies give me a sense of adventure and help me grow as a person outside the classroom.

In the future, I aspire to become a skilled IT professional who not only excels in technical skills but also understands the importance of perseverance, adaptability, and real-world experiences. My background may not have been filled with privileges, but it has certainly given me strength, humility, and an unstoppable desire to achieve something meaningful in life.

Thank you for giving me your time and attention. I’m really looking forward to learning, growing, and making the most out of every opportunity that comes my way.
